Pick Your Own
From 29th June to 28th September 2025, I will be opening the garden every Sunday for Pick Your Own sessions. You can book either a morning slot at 10:00 AM or an afternoon slot at 2:00 PM, with each session limited to one group—so you’ll have the garden all to yourselves while you pick.

You can choose from two bucket sizes:

£30 bucket (standard size)

£60 bucket (larger option)​
There is a maximum of 10 buckets per session (though you can invite more guests than the number of buckets and share the flowers out). On bookings of 6 or more buckets I offer a 10% discount. Larger groups are limited to £30 buckets per guest.

Groups of fewer than 5 guests will have 1 hour to pick.

Groups of 5 or more can enjoy up to 2 hours in the garden.

PYO
When you come to Pick

I will have prepared the number of buckets booked with water in them for when you arrive and will give you these and snips to pick your flowers with

Make sure you are wearing suitable footwear, the ground can be uneven (I have moles!) and grass may be wet. Also be prepared for our English weather. There is some shelter in the workshop area or the polytunnel in case of a downpour.

Some bigger flowers may have a restriction on the amount you can pick (eg sunflowers) so you can create a balanced arrangement. I will talk you through this on your arrival.

You can take your time to explore the walled garden, smaller groups will have up to an hour and larger two hours. There is seating around the garden you can use and feel free to bring something to drink or eat whilst you are here. Just make sure you take any rubbish home with you.

To get the most out of your flowers, look to pick ones that are just opening up, though if you want instant impact you can pick some that are more open and have a succession of flowers.

There will be elastic bands available if you want to bunch your flowers. If you have time there will be tables you can spread your flowers out and have a go at arranging them.

Remember to bring a bucket to transport your flowers home in, or if your haven't got anything suitable you can purchase your bucket on the day. £4 for the small bucket, £6 for the large.
PYO wedding flowers
If you would like to come and pick your own flowers for your wedding, you may want to do this midweek. Please get in touch so we can book this in for you. This could be a great experience on the days leading up to your wedding. You could either use this as a quiet grounding moment for yourself surrounded by nature, or you could make it a party and get your family or bridesmaids involved?
Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be given if PYO is cancelled up to 14 days prior to date booked. 50% refund will be given for cancellations between 13 and 7 days prior to date booked. Less than 7 days notice, no refund will be given
In the event of severe bad weather we will rearrange to another day.
